Frequently Asked Questions

Will Dead Drums Vol. 1 and Synthalgic get native Pro Tools support so I do not have to use a wrapper plugin?

Because we are a small team and the process to build an AAX plugin is quite tedious, there are no current plans to update both plugins to be natively hosted. Instructions to install and use the AAX wrapper can be found here.

My plugin is not showing up in my DAW?

First, make sure that you have installed the correct version for the given operating system that you are on. For DAW's that support multiple plugin types (e.g. Ableton Live), check to make sure that you have the specified plugin format enabled that you have installed. Further steps can be found at the following link. If the issue persists, please contact the Fine Classics Plugins team.

I saw that the Vintage Vibe guitar amplifier is OSC compatible. What exactly does that mean and how do I set it up?

"OSC compatible" means the amplifier can receive and send OSC messages for remote control. This allows a user to directly connect and control the amp wirelessly. Refer to the user manual for setup instructions. Watch a tutorial on YouTube for a visual guide.

I accidentally purchased the wrong version of a plugin for my operating system. Can I request the correct version?

Yes! Please reach out to us via the Contact page and we will be sure to get you a copy that is appropriate for the operating system that you are on.

Do the plugins work on an M1 Mac and the newest OS?

Absolutely! All Fine Classics Plugins have been tested in all major DAW's for compatibility with macOS 14.0 Sonoma.

For Dead Drums Vol. 1, I want to put my own processing on each drum, is it possible and how can I do it?

It is possible via multi-output mode. Refer to the linked video. If you are still having difficulties, reach out to our support team via the contact page.

Can I use the Vintage Vibe guitar amplifier with my pedals?

Yes! Just place the pedals before the amp in the signal chain.
